Do I Need to Hire a Lawyer?

I talk to many people where after discussing their claim, I tell them that they actually don't need a lawyer to represent them. This is because their injuries are fairly minor and resolve within a short time.

However, with more serious injuries, representation by an experienced personal injury lawyer is almost always required to obtain fair and reasonable compensation. An insurance claims adjustor considers their job as not to pay the injured person a fair and reasonable amount for their injury, but to pay as little as possible and move on to the next claim. Because many injuries have lifelong consequences for the injured person and may involve several different insurance companies, there is no substitute for experienced legal counsel.
